Community Involvement

In a time when communities are divided, differences are making enemies, and virtual relationships are defining friendships there is no better time than now to come together as neighbors and make a difference.  Our E91 Community Engagement team is actively serving throughout the Castleton Community.

You can be a part of The Big Game, Trunk or Treat, #FOR317 Week and more.

Contact Sara Shetterley  for ways to get involved.

One of the ways we encourage people to take next steps with Jesus is by serving others. If you are looking for more ways to help, please take a look at this list of our local strategic partners and feel free to contact them directly to set up opportunities to serve individually, as a family, a group of friends or a LifeGroup.

You can also get involved with these teams:

E91 Medical Team

The E91 Medical Team serves a few different ways; as an emergency on call during Sunday morning services, checking first aid kits and AED kits throughout the church, community events and luncheons to encourage medical professionals in our congregation as they live out their faith inside of their career. E91 Safe Families Team

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer-driven movement that relies upon host families, and a network of support, to open their arms, their hearts, and their homes to host vulnerable children.

The Safe Families experience starts at church, where families are invited to not only change the lives of a fellow family for better but to enrich their own lives by practicing biblical hospitality. By hosting these vulnerable children, along with support from the church, this extended family environment helps keep children safe and keeps families intact.

Instead of waiting for bad things to happen to children, we can step in to help. By design, child welfare systems are designed to react AFTER something bad happens to a child. Such interventions can be necessary in cases of abuse and neglect, but we can help BEFORE bad things occur.

To learn how you can get involved email Tammie Thomas.
