Globally

Our mission of helping people take next steps with Jesus is carried on through our National and Global Strategic Partners. There are a few ways you can get involved in serving outside the city of Indianapolis.

Impact Trips

E91 IMPACT Trips are short-term trips intended to help goers take the next step with Jesus as they are equipped to serve others. IMPACT Trips are not the end but only the beginning of a growing servant heart. Teams serve together before they go and are equipped with next steps once they return home on how to engage in continued service. As teams extend Jesus to others, they have an opportunity to experience Jesus in community through team building and trip projects.

APPLY FOR AN IMPACT TRIP

There are some ways to be a part of our IMPACT Trips. While some are called to go others can partner through prayer and financial support. If you would like to join the team members through prayer, please follow along with their journeys on the Outreach Community Facebook group. If you would like to help send someone through financial support to the general fundraising goals for each team you can do that here! 100% of money donated is tax-deductible and used to send people on our E91 Impact Trips.

Trip Focus:
This trip is working at Haus Edelweiss serving the students and staff at TCM International Institute. TCM is dedicated to taking Christ to the millions and has found the most effective way to do that is by training Christians for ministry.  A Short-term worker’s God-given gifts and talents will be utilized to serve Christian leaders who come to our main teaching campus near Vienna, Austria for ministry training.  Jobs vary from house-and-grounds projects (mowing lawns, etc.) to food preparation and serving, setting tables, dusting, sweeping, changing bed linens, doing laundry, etc.  A short-term worker MUST have a servant's heart to help the Haus Edelweiss staff give our guests the education and ministry they need.

Each short-term work trip to Haus Edelweiss is 13 days, including travel time.  Short-term workers work 12 hours each day but with adequate breaks to rest.  There are also many stairs to climb in the course of a day's work, so the volunteers must have good physical strength and stamina.

Registration Deadline: March 1, 2019 - Application and 10% deposit is due.

Trip Focus:

Do you have what it takes to reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro?

It’s the highest peak on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, rising in breathtaking isolation from the surrounding coastal scrubland to a height of 19,341 feet.

But Kilimanjaro is also one of the world’s most accessible high summits, requiring no technical climbing experience. Most climbers reach the crater rim with little more than trekking poles, proper clothing and determination. The porters carry all your gear, so you only need to get yourself and your day pack up the mountain. Anyone in good health who has spent some time in training and preparation can do this.

But there’s so much more to Kilimanjaro than her summit. The ascent of the slopes is a virtual climatic world tour, from the tropics to the arctic. This is an adventure you don’t want to miss!

Imagine the rush of adrenaline, the majestic views, your sense of accomplishment and the memories you’ll make on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

But this trip is more than just an opportunity to cross something off your “bucket list.” By climbing Kilimanjaro with CMF you’ll be stepping boldly for a bigger purpose. Your efforts can inspire others to get involved and to give to the Missions of Hope International (MOHI) ministry in Kenya.

Our ultimate challenge to you is to use your Kilimanjaro climb as an opportunity to transform lives through Christ’s love.

Registration Deadline: March 1, 2019 - $500 Deposit Due

To register please submit your deposit here

Note: Your deposit is non-refundable. All trip funds are due to CMF two months prior to departure. A suggested trip payment schedule will be provided.

Non-climbing spouses are welcome to come and participate in volunteer activities at the school.
