Dear E91 Family,
Thanks for joining us in worship online this past weekend. We missed seeing your faces, but we praise God that we live in a time when technology can still bring us together, even when we can’t gather in person. As you probably know, the CDC released additional guidelines, encouraging gatherings of more than 50 people to be suspended for a minimum of 8 weeks. In response, the Leadership Team has determined we will abide by this recommendation, and plan to host our Sunday Service online until mid-May.
Additionally, all other meetings and events will be cancelled during this time. The E91 Counseling Center will be closing beginning Wednesday, March 18th through the end of March. E91 Early Learning will be closed through their previously scheduled Spring Break, and all teachers are being paid for the time they were scheduled to work during this closure.
Rest assured, we will be continuing to monitor the situation closely, and if restrictions and recommendations are reversed or revised, we’ll happily come back together in the building!
In the meantime, our E91 staff continues to work from home only coming to the building if absolutely necessary. If you need to contact them, they are available to you via email. Over the coming days we will be sending out different ways for you to get involved as we care for others in our E91 family, and for others in our community. While we may not be meeting face to face, we’re going to have several ways for each of us to continue taking next steps with Jesus.
All kinds of things have been cancelled and changed this week. But one thing remains certain, God’s throne is still open for business. He will hear our prayers. Faith, hope, and love have not been cancelled. There was a time in the Bible when a king name Jehoshaphat and the Israelites were under attack. They didn’t know how to defeat the enemy that was coming at them from all sides. They cried out to the Lord: “For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you” (2 Chronicles 20:12 ESV). We are encouraged that even when a situation seems so big that things are spiraling out of control, we serve a God who is bigger than it all.
Keeping our eyes on Him,
Pastor Rick & the E91 Staff

Dear E91 Family,
Thanks for hanging with us through all the updates this week. Our worship and production team have been working hard, and we’ll be bringing you church LIVE ONLINE Sunday morning at 10am on the E91 Facebook Page. If you miss the live version, just head on over to our website and you can catch the replay of the whole service anytime. We also encourage you to join the E91 Family Online Church Facebook Group.
In this group, we’ll be sharing things all week long to help encourage you during this time we are not meeting together on Sundays. Consider this group our online E91 gathering space for real conversations and virtual hugs.
As we announced Thursday evening, the E91 building remains closed until further notice, to comply with the Governor’s request to cancel non-essential gatherings. E91 Church Staff and Pastors are working from home when possible and will be available to you through email.
The Health Department mandated additional standards and recommended protocols for daycares and preschools on Friday, so e91 Early Learning made the decision they will also be closed beginning Monday, March 16th through Friday, April 5th. This closure includes our previously scheduled Spring Break. We are giving tuition rebates to families for this unexpected closure, as well as continuing to pay the Early Learning staff for the time they would have been scheduled to work during the closure.
We also want you to know that we are finalizing plans for ways we can really show that we as a church are FOR317 during this unprecedented time in our city. We’ll be starting to share those next week, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates on the Facebook Group and through the All-Church Email.
Grace and Peace,
