Individual Counseling
Many individuals have grown up in families characterized by abuse and neglect. Even good families can fail to teach the skills necessary for coping with depression, anxiety, and fear. Personal counseling from a Christian perspective gently challenges and changes long-standing dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors.

Marriage and Family Counseling
An unstable, unsatisfying marriage or family can make life miserable. Arguments often escalate into angry confrontations with no resolution. Children can rebel, become discouraged, and withdraw from family involvement, making them more vulnerable to alcohol, drugs, promiscuity, and violence. Marriage and family counseling from a Christian perspective interrupts destructive communication patterns, rebuilds trust through repentance and forgiveness, teaches parenting skills, and strengthens family commitment.

Pre-marital Counseling
All couples wishing to marry at East 91st Street Christian Church must receive premarital counseling. You may receive your pre-marital counseling through several different avenues; your officiating pastor, a Christian counselor approved by your officiating pastor or a Resident counselor at Crucible Counseling Center located at East 91st Street Christian Church. If you choose to receive your counseling at Crucible Counseling Center, it will include eight to ten private sessions with a Professional Counseling Resident. Costs include: $20 for an initial appointment; $55 for materials; and each session will be charged on a sliding fee scale of $40-$60 based on your household income. Minors
Please note that while we do counsel families, the Center will only see individual clients ages 18 and older for ongoing counseling.

Confidentiality
Confidentiality is of the highest priority and will be strictly maintained. The only exceptions are those mandated by Indiana law.
