Floral Arranging
Sunday, April 20, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Monday, April 21, 6:00 p.m.

Held at Rita's Backyard Florist & Garden Center in Fishers
This new series begins with two floral arranging workshops. Eachparticipant will provide her own vase and will leave with a beautiful fresh bouquet for her home. Cost of the flowers and foliage is $25, to be paid upon registration. Each session is limited to 20 women. To register, stop by The Connecting Place table on Sunday morning.

Container Gardening Workshop
Sunday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. - OR - Monday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m.

Rita's Backyard Florist & Garden Center in Fishers
Participants will bring containers with them, as well as a trowel and gloves for their own use. Containers can include hanging baskets or window boxes, etc. Bring plants with you or purchase at the garden center. Workshop cost, $5. Cost of plants and containers is not included. We will be working outside, weather permitting. In case of rain, we'll work in the barn. Please plan to load and unload your containers. 

Pizza Herb Garden Workshop
Thursday, May 15, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

While this workshop will primarily include herbs typically used in pizza and other Italian dishes, other herbs will be available for substitution. Workshop cost, $20. Participants will bring containers with them, as well as a trowel and gloves for their own use.

Walk Through the Backyard Workshop
Thursday, June 19, 6:00 p.m.

Rita's Backyard Florist & Garden Center in Fishers
Offers general instruction and specific answers to your questions, as well as hands-on practice at dividing plants correctly. Plan for an outdoor information-packed stroll on caring for flowering shrubs, trees, etc. Workshop cost, $5. Limited to 30 women.


New Summer Study!
Hidden Treasures: God's Wisdom for Living

Mondays, June 23 - July 28, 7:00 p.m., The Hall (125)
Ladies, are you making summer plans? Invite some neighbors and help us explore Hidden Treasures! During this Bible study, you will follow a study guide, participate in small group discussion, and enjoy worship and teaching in a large group setting. Invite a friend to participate in any or all of these six sessions. Email womenscommunity@east91st.org for more information.

Small Groups for Women
Various locations and times
Spend some regular time with “the girls”! Join a small group with other women of all ages, studying a variety of topics. Groups provide opportunity for Bible study, new friendships, and deeper connection with other women through prayer and discussion. Complete your study during the week and talk it about further during group discussion. No prior Bible knowledge is required. Childcare provided for most groups. Women’s Breast Cancer Support Group
2nd Tuesday of every month, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Room 033
Join us for a time of encouragement and support for those who are experiencing or have experienced a diagnosis of breast cancer. We invite breast cancer survivors to attend and share their testimonies of God’s faithfulness through this life challenge. With questions, contact Wendy Herrberg, 849-1261 x2382.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
1st and 3rd Fridays, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m., September through May
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a smart, relevant, and caring network, helping moms with children ages birth – kindergarten to be better moms through trusted resources and supportive relationships.
