Imagine the Future …
East 91st Street Christian Church envisions a future that involves our entire church family participating in a strategy to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people in our community and around the world. Our goal is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ and to see vibrant, multiplying churches established around the world. We will accomplish this through prayer (with the scriptural mandate of Acts 1:8 as a foundation) and the dedicated service of our congregation, working in partnership with other Christians and Christian organizations.

Missions Ministry Team
This team aids in the evaluation and selection of the church’s supported missions. The group relates their testimonies to the church and endeavors to lift them up with encouragement and prayer. New team members are always welcome. Some of our common needs include helping with the missions displays, staffing missions events and conferences, preparing the Bethany House for use by our Missionaries in Residence, writing testimonies for E91 publications, corresponding with and encouraging our missionaries, and prayer. Longer-term ministry opportunities are also available.

Samaritan's Purse
The Samaritan's Purse Project identifies children with life-threatening heart disease in countries lacking technology and training, and matches them with North American doctors and facilities that donate their services. As a host church, we provide the families with a host family and other basic needs to help make their U.S. stay a positive one, filled with the love of Christ.
