Our Beginning
A Lasting Legacy of Christian Stewardship

The Foundation provides God’s people the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for the support of Christian service through bequests, gifts, and memorial donations.

When the Foundation was incorporated April 15, 1994, the E91 Church leaders prayerfully constructed the Foundation as a long-term Christian charitable organization apart from the church’s day-to-day business and budget.  The Church leaders insisted that the tithing, direct giving and prayer of current members must support the current needs and life of the congregation, and that the church must never rely on an endowment. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided more than $425,000 in grants.

The Foundation, separate from E91 Church, operates as a not-for-profit corporation chartered by the State of Indiana. The Foundation is registered and recognized as a Private Foundation by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c) (3) of the U.S Internal Revenue Code.
